The basses can be bought at a store called "Hoffer's Tropical Life Pets". There are also other local fishes such as walleyes, small mouth basses, perches, etc. The northern was in the tank with the bass for couple of months before the incident. I was sitting at the computer when I heard "the chase" and by that time, it was too late. I currently feed him medium sized suckers and feeder goldfishes.
