Shown here is the danger involve in catching sharks. The hook barely missing my skin is hooked on the my wet suit. Letting go the shark is not an option as it will drag me into the water. Very dangerous situation.

Nate caught a 120# thresher shark off the coast of San Diego, August 2008. He's on a 2008 Hobie Kayaks Revolution with turbo fins and a sailing rudder. The reel is an Avet SX with a 30# flourocarbon leader on 65# Spiderwire Ultracast.
